Even though all meals are important, the time that you eat breakfast could have an interesting affect on your health. Did you know there is a perfect time to eat breakfast? Researchers found that participants who ate their breakfast at a certain time of day, lived longer.

    Early breakfast

Researchers from the City University of New York tried to find out what time of day would be the best time to eat your breakfast. 34,000 Americans of over forty participated. These participants had to track their own food intake for a certain period of time. A significant amount of time after the research ended, the researchers compared the eating habits to the death rate of the participants. That way, they could see whether there were significant differences between these groups. It turned out that people who ate breakfast at 7:11 am were six percent less likely to die prematurely than participants who ate their breakfast at eight.

People who ate their breakfast at 10 am were twelve percent more likely to die early, making this the most ‘unhealthy’ time to eat your morning meal.

    Other meals

If you want to go all out and eat at the right times all day long, the perfect time to eat lunch would be between 12:30 pm and 1:00. At 12:38 to be precise. Dinner should be served between 6:00 and 6:30. At the exact time of 18:14.

Unfortunately, the research didn’t go into detail about these specific times and why they would be more healthy. But if it could increase your life span then it might definitely worth a try!
